Programme Objective

To #PLUSskill 100 educators from ASEAN and empower them to conduct 40 AI classes for 5,000 students in their home communities.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Educators, teachers or lecturers actively teaching in schools or educational institutions
  • Can communicate in English
  • Passionate about giving back to their communities
  • Committed to conducting ‘AI for Good’ workshops for a minimum of 100 students in their respective home countries within 12 months after completing the training programme
  • Residing in Thailand, Malaysia, or the Philippines (Current Intake)*

*The current intake is applicable for the above countries only. For those residing outside of these countries, we are actively working on similar initiatives and will announce them in due course.

Machine Learning and Deep LearningUnderstand the concepts of machine learning and deep learning in simple terms.
Computer VisionUnderstand the concept of computer vision and how it works, including image recognition and object detection.
Generative AI and LLMUnderstand the concept of generative AI and how it is built, including the creation of new content such as images, music, and text.
Limitations of AIRecognize the limitations of AI (esp LLM) and understand the importance of responsible use of AI.

  • Claimable Items:
    • Participants are to book and pay for the following items upfront, then claim reimbursement from AI Singapore. Important Note: To book flights, buses or other transportation only after receiving program acceptance from AI Singapore.

  • Claim Information:
    • Items not listed above are not eligible for reimbursement.
    • Submit claims within 10 working days from the last day of the training workshop.
    • The claim process takes 6-8 weeks from the complete claim submission date.
    • Additional details on the claims process will be provided upon program acceptance.
  • Post-training:
    • 2-year access to the LearnAI Learning Management System (LMS) from the date of issuance of the Train-the-Trainer certificate.
    • Virtual support for Q&A sessions during your FIRST local workshops in your home countries (*subject to availability). Questions from subsequent local workshops can be compiled and addressed via email.

Educators must conduct ‘AI for Good’ workshops, each lasting 1-2 hours, for a minimum of 100 students in their home countries within 12 months after completing the training.

Participants are advised to bring their laptops for presentations and hands-on sessions. For note-taking during the training sessions, it is recommended to also bring notebooks, tablets, and any other necessary materials.
