The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern all use of the AI Singapore’s websites and web assets found in the domain learn.aisingapore.org website, including all content, services and software packages (“Service(s)”) provided via this website (the “Website”) by AI Singapore, a national research programme funded by the National Research Foundation, Singapore and hosted by the National University of Singapore (“hereafter AISG, NUS”, “us”, “we” or “our”). If there are links to or redirects from this website to third party websites (“third party sites”), you should acquaint yourself with the terms of use of such third party sites) and we make no warranty or representation as to the security or content of such third party sites and your access and use of such third party sites is at your own risk.

You may not access or use the Website and/or the Services and may not accept the Terms if 

(a) you are below of the age of majority in your country of residence or

(b) you are a person barred from using the Website under the applicable laws of Singapore or the country that you are resident in. 

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Website. Your access to and use of the Website is conditional upon your acceptance, without modification, of all the Terms contained herein and all other rules, policies or procedures that may be published from time to time on this Website. If you disagree with any part of the Terms then you may not access or use the Website and Services.

Availability, Errors and Inaccuracies 

We are constantly updating our Services on the Website. We reserve the right to amend, change or update the Terms at our discretion. 

Subscriptions 

Some Services offered by us on this Website may be paid subscription services (“Subscription(s)”). By selecting a Subscription, you agree to pay AISG the subscription fees indicated for those Services and comply with the terms and conditions specific to the Services that you are subscribing to. 

Accounts 

When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for any activities or actions that occur in connection with the account.

You agree not to disclose details of your account to any third party. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breaches of security immediately upon becoming aware of such unauthorised use or breach of security. We will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any loss of data, breach of confidentiality or damages of any kind incurred as a result of your acts or omissions. Any information that you have furnished to us upon creation of the account shall be used in accordance with our privacy policy. 

Open Source Software 

Some of the software required by or included in our Services may be offered under an open source license, details of which is provided in the specific documentation for that Service. In the event that the open source software licence terms expressly supersedes or alters the Terms, the open source licence terms shall prevail for that limited purpose only. 

Compliance with law 

You will comply with all applicable law, regulation, and third party rights (including without limitation laws regarding the import or export of data or software, privacy, and local laws). You will not use the Services to encourage or promote unethical activity, illegal activity or violation of third party rights. You hereby irrevocably and unconditionally agree that we may monitor your use of the Services to ensure quality of the Service, Service improvement (where required) and compliance with the Terms.

It is our policy to respond to any claim that any Service posted on the Website infringes the copyright or other intellectual property infringement (“Infringement”) of any person. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service. For avoidance of doubt, upon termination of the account, any fees that you have paid for use of the Services is non-refundable. All provisions in these Terms which by their nature should survive termination, shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability. 

Limitation of Liability

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at our sole discretion. If a revision is material (as deemed by us) we will try to provide at least 10 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access this website or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
