In this example, RenalTeam teamed up with AISG to find a way to use AI to predict the hospitalization of dialysis patients, a key to early medical intervention to decrease medical cost and mortality risk. The developed AI model achieved a 36% better precision in predicting the hospitalization of patients compared with the medical teams and has since been integrated into the systems at RenalTeam’s dialysis centers and served as a decision support tool for their medical staff.
