Course Information

Literacy in AI is a 5-hour course which introduces learners into the world of machine learning. It also explores the topic of ethics in AI.

Upon completion of this course, the learner would be exposed a range of introductory topics related to AI.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the "AI for Industry – Literacy in AI" certificate.

This course is a pre-requisite to "AI for Industry – Foundations in AI" (course purchase is required to access this course).

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course, you will :

• Understand common machine learning terms
• Understand what machine learning models are
• Understand the basic workings of deep learning
• Be able to identify possible ethical issues in a typical AI project
• Build a simple demand forecasting model using Orange data mining platform (optional)

Structure Overview and Typical Completion Time

This course consists of 2 modules with 4 quizzes. To successfully complete the course, a learner will have to achieve 100% scores for all quizzes with unlimited attempts.

The total estimated course learning time is 5 hours.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the Literacy in AI certificate.
